Queen's Domain launches October 30 on PS5, Xbox Series, Switch 2, and Steam
Freshly Baked Games' FromSoft-inspired retro-fantasy RPG Queen's Domain arrives October 30 across consoles and PC. The action RPG features brutal combat, traversal-focused exploration, and over 50 melee weapons as players search for their missing father

Freshly Baked Games and publisher Future Friends Games have announced that Queen's Domain will launch on October 30 on PS5, Xbox Series, Nintendo Switch 2, and Steam.
The retro-fantasy action RPG has already accumulated over 180,000 Steam wishlists ahead of its release. A demo is available now on Steam for players interested in trying the game before its full launch.
Queen's Domain follows a stranded adventurer who washes up on the shores of the Isle of Neasied. The player's quest centers on finding their missing father while uncovering the dark secrets of this mysterious island, where a sleeping Queen stirs and sinister forces gather.
The game draws clear inspiration from FromSoftware's classic King's Field series, offering first-person exploration in a dangerous fantasy realm filled with dungeons and labyrinths. Combat combines a classic stamina meter with powerful charge attacks, weapon-specific special attacks, and secondary throwing weapons. Players can choose from over 50 melee weapons and 20 types of throwing weapons, each offering different strategic possibilities.
The game features over 100 enemies, mini bosses, and bosses to defeat throughout dozens of hours of gameplay. Character progression comes through leveling up with XP and consuming food items that boost key stats. An interconnected world design rewards exploration, with secrets hidden throughout the island.
Core gameplay mechanics emphasize traversal as well as combat. The Legendary Holy Sword Endu serves a dual purpose: it functions as a weapon during fights and allows players to fly across gaps between platforms. Upgrades expand the sword's flight range, enabling access to new areas.
The visual aesthetic embraces retro-fantasy design principles, drawing comparisons to 1990s CD-ROM era adventures like Hexen, Witchaven, Heretic, and Stonekeep. The art style features classic PC texture design, cavernous interiors, and 3D item pickups across varied environments.
Queen's Domain launches simultaneously across all platforms on October 30.
