Quarantine Zone Gets Free Miami Expansion on October 15

Quarantine Zone is expanding with a free update that relocates the plague-screening checkpoint to Miami. Quarantine Zone: Miami Zero launches October 15, 2026, as a free addition to the original game.

The expansion introduces a sun-soaked Florida setting filled with new ailments and symptoms for checkpoint arrivals to either hide or let slip past your inspection. Your role remains rooting out the secretly ill, but Miami Zero expands the toolkit beyond the original game's hammer-based diagnostics.

The trailer showcases X-rays, scanner sticks, and tasers as diagnostic options. Beyond checkpoint duties, the expansion includes a lab component where you experiment with drugs using various scientific instruments. The marketing emphasizes this lab work with bold green text reading "Experiment with drugs."

Miami Zero was revealed at PC Gaming Show Tokyo Direct. The expansion is available to wishlist on Steam now, with the October 15 release date confirmed for the free update.
