The PUBG Mobile 4.6 update is officially live for players worldwide, bringing a bloodthirsty vampire and hunter-inspired gothic theme to the popular free-to-play shooter. Released on September 9, 2026, the new update introduces a variety of gameplay additions, including the limited-time Midnight Hunters themed mode, faction battles, Classic Mode weapon adjustments, and extensive seasonal content.

For Android users, the global rollout began on the Google Play Store at 7:00 AM IST with an initial 30% availability, expanding to 50% at 9:30 AM IST, and scheduled to reach full 100% availability by 3:30 PM IST. Players who prefer not to wait for the gradual store rollout can access a direct APK download option through the official PUBG Mobile website, which went live at 12:30 PM IST. Meanwhile, iPhone and iPad users can download Version 4.6 directly from the Apple App Store, with full regional availability also scheduled to hit 100% by 3:30 PM IST on September 9.

The centerpiece of the Version 4.6 patch is the Midnight Hunters mode, which pits hunters against vampires across eerie, horror-themed districts with new lore locations tied to the Vampire Hunter Guild. The mode introduces PvE enemies including melee-focused Bloodwalkers, Vampire Elder mini-bosses, and elite variants equipped with unique finisher animations, takedowns, and protective shields. Players can also utilize supernatural abilities such as transforming into an energy bat using Twilight Bat Wings, traversing the map with the Silvermoon Chain, sealing windows with Blood Crystal Barriers, and utilizing new medical items.

In addition to the supernatural gameplay modes, the 4.6 update brings massive tweaks to Classic Mode and Arena Mode. Key adjustments include improved handling for 7.62mm firearms, changes to the ACE32, and the addition of a new Inflatable Boat for water travel.
