Playkot has announced that its fantasy squad-based role-playing game Age of Magic has surpassed $120 million in revenue globally. The title is also closing in on 20 million total installations across five mobile storefronts. Originally launched on September 19, 2018, the game has established itself as a key live-service property for the developer.

Set in a dark fantasy world focused on magical artifacts and rival factions, the game features a large roster of heroes and ongoing narrative storylines rather than a single protagonist. Playkot recently marked an anniversary for the game featuring special in-game activities and new mini-games to engage the player base.

In late June, Age of Magic received a substantial update introducing an expanded hero development system. This patch brought new progression phases, additional content, and squad customization options designed to give experienced players new goals. According to the studio, this development system will continue to expand in the coming months alongside ongoing seasonal content and special events.
