Project Nebula Brings Super Stardust Inspiration and HD Visuals to Steam This December

MK_Games is set to release Project Nebula on PC this December, offering an arcade-style 360-degree space combat experience inspired by classics like Super Stardust.

Developer MK_Games has announced that Project Nebula will launch on PC via Steam this December. The upcoming title serves as a high-octane reimagining of classic 360-degree space combat games, drawing heavy inspiration from arcade icons such as Asteroids and the 90s hit Super Stardust. Designed to test player reflexes and movement, the fast-paced shooter challenges pilots to survive chaotic alien swarms and hazardous asteroid fields while orbiting massive planetary battlefields.

The release will feature a substantial amount of content at launch, including 100 handcrafted waves spread across 10 visually distinct planets, each concluded by formidable boss encounters that demand unique tactical approaches. Players can choose from three distinct starships and customize their experience using multiple control schemes, such as twin-stick and keyboard setups. Additionally, users can swap between a pure retro Classic Mode and a feature-rich Modern Mode.

Built with high-score chasing in mind, Project Nebula incorporates extensive ship upgrades, local hot-seat co-op, and global online leaderboards to track the ultimate pilot. The experience is rounded out by a pounding soundtrack and hand-crafted high-definition visuals, bringing a modern polish to traditional arcade action.
