Project Motor Racing's latest free update brings the Lamborghini Temerario to the sim, marking the addition of a new Track Day class alongside substantial improvements to physics, graphics and the ModHub system.

The Temerario arrives as the headline addition in version 2.3. Lamborghini's newest supercar combines a 4-litre twin-turbo V8 engine producing 789 horsepower with three electric motors for a combined 907 horsepower output. The engine revs to 10,000 RPM. The car is all-wheel drive and, like the real Temerario, features four-wheel steering that actively adjusts based on driver input and available grip. Below 75 km/h, the rear wheels steer up to 3.0 degrees in the opposite direction to the front wheels, tightening the turning circle for low-speed corners and hairpins. All of this technology has been simulated for accuracy in Project Motor Racing.

The new Track Day class enters the game as base content, suggesting room for future additions to the category. Players who already have custom setups saved will find they remain compatible with the update.

ModHub functionality has expanded in v2.3. Previously, players joining custom multiplayer lobbies with mods had to download and install them manually. The update now identifies missing mods and downloads them automatically when joining a server. ModHub has also gained a search function and now supports multi-class mods for career mode.

Physics refinements target the GT3, GT4 and LMDh classes. Changes include rebalanced cold-temperature grip levels and feel over the limit, with aerodynamics and pitch sensitivity adjusted. Tyre wear, differential flex and gearbox flex have all been updated based on community feedback and historical real-world data. Brake-duct behaviour and aerodynamic drag have also been tuned.

Graphics and rendering systems have seen significant work. The environmental lighting model now simulates solar intensity, colour temperature and sky-driven illumination throughout the full day-night cycle. Tone-mapping has been adjusted to improve luminance mapping, contrast response and colour reproduction across the dynamic range, aiming for consistent visual clarity whether racing at dawn, midday or under floodlights.

A new feature has arrived on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S versions: UDP telemetry output. This allows players to connect Project Motor Racing's telemetry data to an external device on their home network, displaying driving data on a separate screen for performance analysis. The feature also enables compatibility with displays on some steering wheel peripherals and offers potential SimHub integration for additional data-display options.

Version 2.3 also addresses numerous stability and gameplay issues, including corrected toe settings to reduce straight-line wandering, improved pit-box assignment in multi-class sessions, and fixes to replay sorting and leaderboard displays.
