Post Malone Uncases $2 Million The One Ring Card During Commander Session, Causing Panic

Musician Post Malone caused widespread panic among Magic: The Gathering players after pulling his $2 million The One Ring card out of its protective casing during a Game Knights session.

Musician and prominent card collector Post Malone recently gave a room full of Magic: The Gathering players a collective scare by opening the protective casing around his exclusive, one-of-a-kind The One Ring card. Valued at an eye-watering $2 million, the unique card is part of a Lord of the Rings crossover expansion.

During a session of Game Knights on The Command Zone, Post Malone decided to remove the high-value collectible from its large protective block. "I'm taking it out of the obnoxious big block, it would ruin Game Knights," the artist remarked while popping the lid off the display. The action immediately alarmed co-hosts and fellow players at the table.

Co-host Josh Lee Kwai voiced immediate concern regarding the safety of the rare piece, frantically scanning the table for potential hazards and reminding the room that a drink had been spilled nearby only moments prior. "Wait are you taking it out of the thing? Where are the drinks?" Lee Kwai asked, later adding, "I'm very concerned about if anything happens to the one of One Ring. Our insurance doesn't cover that card." Co-host Rachel Weeks also chimed in on the stress of the moment, suggesting that the rare piece of cardboard "should be in a museum or in a vault."

Although Post Malone noted that the card remained protected inside a smaller slab, the impromptu uncasing left participants and viewers alike marveling at the sheer stakes involved in handling such a uniquely valuable trading card.
