The worldwide release of the Pokémon TCG 30th Celebration set is scheduled for September 16. Ahead of the official launch, key details have emerged regarding the most valuable chase cards and preliminary pull rates for the upcoming collection.

The upcoming set features a 30-card Pikachu subset, 30 reprinted classic cards with gold borders, and the debut of brand-new Futuristic Rares. According to data from PriceCharting, the biggest chase card in the set is the Mew ex Futuristic Rare, which commands a price of over $2,000 prior to launch. This puts it significantly ahead of the second-most expensive card, the Mewtwo ex Futuristic Rare, which is valued at just under $650.

Market analysts note important caveats regarding these pre-launch prices. Because the set has not officially launched, valuations are expected to drop once fans get products in their hands and open more packs. The publisher has stated that these prices are subject to change as the market settles post-launch.

Regarding the collection's distribution odds, reliable pull rates are not yet fully available because the volume of opened packs remains low. However, early pre-release claims outline estimated odds for pulling specific rarities. Standard ex cards sit at an estimated 1-in-4 chance, Illustration Rares at 1-in-6, Classic Collection cards at 1-in-10, Special Illustration Rares at 1-in-19, and Futuristic Rares at 1-in-100.

Additionally, it has been confirmed that every single booster pack will include a Pikachu card originating from the 30-artist subset alongside a holo energy. Clearer pictures regarding final pull rates and card distributions are expected to emerge in the coming days as more physical product reaches players.
