Planet Zoo 2 Reveals Six New Animals Before October 13 Launch

Planet Zoo 2 is adding six new animal species to its roster ahead of its October 13 release. The lineup includes Monarch butterflies, Bactrian camels, wild boars, common ostriches, Threespot damselfish, and Moon jellyfish.

The selection spans terrestrial and aquatic environments, reflecting the game's expanded management systems. Players will manage traditional habitats alongside new aviaries and aquariums. The Bactrian camel presents specific care requirements, while the Monarch butterfly adds visual appeal to enclosures.

Each species comes with distinct ecological needs and interactions. The aquatic additions, Threespot damselfish and Moon jellyfish, complement the newly announced aquarium feature. Wild boars and common ostriches offer different habitat and ecosystem challenges compared to other confirmed animals.

Planet Zoo 2 expands on the original's zoo management with enhanced systems for animal welfare and environmental variety. The game launches October 13 on PC.
