Persona 3 Portable's Kotone Shiomi joins Persona 5: The Phantom X globally
Sega and Atlus have added Kotone Shiomi, the female protagonist from Persona 3 Portable, to Persona 5: The Phantom X across all six regional servers simultaneously. The character arrives with an exclusive story event called Reach for the Moon.

Sega, Atlus, and Perfect World have released a new update for Persona 5: The Phantom X introducing Kotone Shiomi, the female protagonist of Persona 3 Portable. She is now available simultaneously across all six regional servers: Mainland Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Korean, Japanese, Global, and Southeast Asian.
This simultaneous worldwide release marks a significant milestone for the free-to-play game. Kotone becomes only the third character unit to launch simultaneously across all servers, following Justine & Caroline and Hatsune Miku.
The update includes an exclusive story event titled Reach for the Moon, which features Kotone in a P5X-specific narrative. According to the event description, Wonder discovers a mysterious door in Paulownia Mall and loses his memory of Tartarus. After being attacked by Shadows, he is rescued by Kotone, who introduces herself as a fellow Persona user. The two venture together into the labyrinth to uncover what lies within.
Voice actress Marina Inoue provides Kotone's voice in the crossover. The event began on September 24. The update also includes a new remix of "Wiping All Out." Persona 5: The Phantom X remains available as a free-to-play title across PC, iOS, and Android globally.
