PC Gamer launches Hyperfeed beta homepage redesign
PC Gamer is testing a new homepage format called Hyperfeed, featuring short-form posts alongside traditional articles. The beta aims to capture gaming's microscopic moments and react quickly to trends.

PC Gamer is testing a new version of its homepage called the Hyperfeed, now live at pcgamer.com/hyperfeed. The redesign arrives as the publication adapts to industry changes shaped by AI integration and shifts in how players engage with gaming content.
The Hyperfeed prioritizes short-form, ephemeral posts published directly by editors and writers. Rather than structured articles, these posts capture observations about small but significant gaming moments: specific character abilities, individual voice lines, memorable items looted during play sessions, or notable experiences from specific games.
"Gaming in 2026 is so often about the microscopic stuff," PC Gamer stated. "We want to talk about our observations and feelings on these small-but-significant things by giving ourselves more flexibility to publish timely, authentic coverage directly from our editors and writers that isn't strictly article-shaped."
Current Hyperfeed posts include personal experiences with games like Diablo 4 and ARC Raiders, hardware customization projects, and editorial reflections on gaming mechanics and trends. PC Gamer intends to use the format to react quickly to patch notes, developer statements, emerging trends, and significant gaming moments.
The beta represents version 0.01 of the Hyperfeed concept. PC Gamer states it has approximately three thousand additional ideas not yet implemented and is soliciting user feedback through a short survey. Traditional in-depth article coverage will continue alongside the new format.
