PAX Unplugged Houston Announced for June 2027

Penny Arcade and ReedPop have announced the expansion of their tabletop event lineup with the newly revealed PAX Unplugged Houston. Since 2017, the organizers have hosted the annual PAX Unplugged in Philadelphia toward the end of the year, celebrating board games, trading card games, and other analog gaming experiences. However, organizers are now establishing a second Unplugged convention located in Houston, Texas, moving the timeframe to the middle of June.

Beginning in 2027, PAX Unplugged Houston will take place at the George R. Brown Convention Center from June 25th through June 27th. The convention will feature panels, tournaments, shopping, and general tabletop gaming in early summer weather. Tickets for the inaugural event are scheduled to go on sale later in the year.

This new southern location marks a return to Texas for PAX, which previously hosted a show in San Antonio for approximately six years. The addition of a Houston-based event offers an alternative for regional analog gamers who previously had to travel northeast to Philadelphia during the winter months.
