OVFX Studio, an Outlook Company, has faced serious accusations from both employees and contractors who allege the developer has failed to pay for completed game development work. According to reports, the studio has ignored requests to settle invoices tied to one of its latest development projects, frequently failing to respond to workers seeking payment for completed tasks.

Documentation provided to media outlets includes screenshots displaying nearly daily payment requests that were stalled by various excuses, including travel, work, and religious commitments. Publicly available reviews on Glassdoor further corroborate these claims, indicating that compensation issues have persisted over an extended period. Former staff members have described a troubling pattern of missed paychecks, low compensation, and physical checks bouncing after direct deposit mechanisms reportedly ceased functioning due to banking issues.

Additional criticisms from former personnel point to a toxic work environment and rounds of layoffs directed at individuals who spoke out about inadequate compensation and poor treatment. Workers claimed that asking the CEO for backpay frequently resulted in retaliation and termination. Multiple complaints have been directed toward OVFX Studio CEO Trevor Pryce, with staff alleging a tendency to lash out, block, or fire individuals inquiring about their wages.
