Capcom Rolls Out Onimusha: Way of the Sword 'Curious Cases' Trailer Series

Capcom has initiated the rollout of the Onimusha Curious Cases trailer series for the upcoming action game Onimusha: Way of the Sword. Designed to gradually introduce key combatants and bosses, the trailers feature narration by the Oni Lady, who is voiced in Japanese by Aya Endo and in English by Yuriri Naka. Capcom is publishing these video showcases every other day leading up to the game's simultaneous worldwide release on September 4.

Because of international time zone differences, the trailer publication days vary slightly depending on region, with the earlier date applying to the Americas and the later date corresponding to Asia-Pacific. The schedule features specific voice-cast spotlights for various characters. The Miyamoto Musashi trailer debuted on August 16 and 17, featuring Japanese voice actor Yoshimasa Hosoya and English voice actor Kenichiro Thomson. Following that, the Sasaki Ganryu trailer arrived on August 18 and 19 with Japanese voice actor Nobuhiko Okamoto and English voice actor Tashinga Bepete, alongside additional cast listings including Yasuhiro Mamiya and Adam Longworth. Subsequent spotlights include Shuten Doji on August 24 and 25, featuring Japanese voice actor Shinnosuke Ogami and English voice actor Anthony Howell alongside Kenta Miyake, and Dokyo scheduled for August 31 and September 1, featuring Japanese voice actor Riho Fushida and English voice actor Clare Corbett. The final trailer in the series is slated to go live on the day right before the game launches.

Onimusha: Way of the Sword is set to release simultaneously worldwide on September 4. The title will be available across multiple platforms, including PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC through Steam, the Epic Games Store, and the Microsoft Store.
