Apple TV+ has released the first full trailer for the sixth season of its espionage drama series, Slow Horses, revealing a major character return alongside a fresh batch of episodes. Based on the books by author Mick Herron, the streaming platform's successful series follows the operatives of Slough House as they face ongoing threats.

The newly unveiled trailer confirms that Olivia Cooke will reprise her role as Sid, following her departure after the first season. Events during the debut season previously suggested that the character had died, indicating that a key reunion is now planned between Sid and Jack Lowden's character, River Cartwright. Meanwhile, Gary Oldman returns as Jackson Lamb to protect his team from an evolving threat, while past operatives face dangers from assassins.

The sixth season of Slow Horses is scheduled to premiere on the streaming platform starting September 16. The series continues to maintain a strong production schedule, with a seventh season already having been greenlit and slated to begin filming in the autumn following upcoming episode rollouts.
