An unofficial PC version of the Nintendo GameCube classic Pikmin has just been released. This unofficial version runs the game code directly on the host system and translates GX to OpenGL. Because it does not use Dolphin or any other emulator, it functions as a proper native PC port.

The PC release offers three framerate options. Players can select between 30FPS, 60FPS, or 120FPS directly from the in-game menu. Additionally, the project includes support for widescreen monitors. The heads-up display is laid out for 16:9 rather than stretched, and the 3D view culls to the same shape to prevent assets from popping in and out at the sides.

Players can also adjust various PC graphics settings. The menu allows users to enable or disable antialiasing, restored fog, bloom, ambient occlusion, depth of field, texture filtering, and colour grading. Furthermore, the port supports keyboard and mouse controls.

As with similar recompilation projects, the download does not contain any in-game assets. Users must provide their own ROM file. The project supports both the Pikmin USA Rev 1 and Pikmin Europe versions.
