Netgem and Telkom Indonesia Launch HELD Cloud Gaming Service

Netgem and Telkom Indonesia have officially launched HELD, a new cloud gaming service for mobile devices in Indonesia that streams PC and console games.

Netgem and Telkom Indonesia have officially launched HELD, a brand-new cloud gaming service tailored for mobile devices in Indonesia. The platform utilizes cloud streaming technology to make console and PC titles playable directly on mobile hardware. According to Netgem, the rollout provides telecom operators with an additional entertainment choice for their customer base while simultaneously helping game publishers expand their reach to broader audiences.

The deployment follows a working relationship between the two companies. In March, reports indicated that Telkom Indonesia was among the operators connected to Netgem as part of a wider cloud gaming expansion across ten markets. Netgem noted that its teams collaborated closely with Telkom Indonesia to ensure the service went live in time for the country's national holiday.

At launch, the service's available titles include Overcooked! 2, Mafia: Definitive Edition, Mafia II: Definitive Edition, Barbie Project Friendship, and Nickelodeon Kart Racers 2: Grand Prix. Netgem has highlighted major publishers such as 2K and Outright Games as being represented on the platform. While Telkom Indonesia maintains an overall mobile user base exceeding 150 million, the launch serves as the introduction of the HELD platform itself rather than reflecting an immediate active subscriber count of that magnitude.
