MR. RECORDS Rhythm Game Coming to PS5 With 49 Original Songs

Glee Cheese's MR. RECORDS is heading to PS5 as a rhythm game that blends business simulation with musical adventure. Players take on the role of the titular character, managing a record store during the day while earning money to expand the music collection.

At night, the game shifts into rhythm gameplay. Each vinyl record transforms into what the developer describes as "a vibrant rhythm adventure, with dynamic worlds that shift and evolve alongside the music." Players run, jump, slide, and chain together perfectly timed actions as they journey through imaginative landscapes inspired by the tracks.

The game features 49 original songs, with each track accompanied by its own fictional story and history that players can explore at their own pace. The art style emphasizes striking visuals tied to the musical themes throughout.

A PC demo is currently available for players interested in getting an early look at the game. MR. RECORDS does not yet have a confirmed release date for PS5, though developer Glee Cheese has indicated the launch is expected in the not-too-distant future.
