The MongolZ target nin9 to complete roster rebuild
The Mongolian esports organisation is set to sign veteran player Yesuntumur 'nin9' Gantulga as multiple sources confirm he is the frontrunner to fill the final vacant spot on their Counter-Strike roster.

The MongolZ are poised to sign 28-year-old Yesuntumur 'nin9' Gantulga as their fifth player, according to multiple sources who spoke with HLTV. The Mongolian veteran emerged as the leading candidate to complete the organisation's Counter-Strike roster after weeks of trials involving several players.
nin9 is expected to be unveiled alongside benched player Anarbileg 'cobrazera' Uuganbayar, who will return to the starting lineup. The 21-year-old cobrazera had already featured for The MongolZ at FISSURE Playground 3, where he replaced Sodbayar 'Techno' Munkhbold earlier this season.
The MongolZ have been operating with a depleted roster since mid-September, when Zolbayar 'tikuak' Chimedtseren and Dugarsuren 'DarkMeister' Ireedui were benched after two months with the team. tikuak later departed to rejoin Chinggis Warriors. The signing process took several weeks as the organisation evaluated nin9, Maks 'laxiee' Andryei and academy prospect Bayarbat 'M4k' Tugs-Erdene.
nin9 previously played for The MongolZ between May and August 2018 and brings significant pedigree to the roster. He was part of the IHC lineup that made history in 2022 as the first Mongolian team to qualify for a Counter-Strike Major. The proposed five-man roster would feature nin9 alongside bLitz, 910, Techno, cobrazera and coach maaRaa.
