Militsioner Heading to Xbox Game Pass in 2027

Developer-backed surreal immersive sim Militsioner has been announced for release on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox on PC, and Xbox Game Pass in 2027. According to official announcements, players will also be able to take advantage of Xbox Play Anywhere, allowing them to play on both console and PC at no additional cost.

In Militsioner, players find themselves arrested despite claiming complete innocence and facing a Kafkaesque world with no chance in court. The core premise features a literally gigantic twist: a colossal policeman who is always watching and monitoring the player's every move. Players must attempt to escape a mysterious town by outsmarting, outwitting, or outrunning the authorities, all while under the watchful eye of an omniscient presence. The game promises multiple ways to escape, complex outcomes based on player actions, and even unconventional interaction choices such as flirting or potentially dating the colossal officer.

Regular-sized townsfolk inhabit the world with unique needs, giving players the choice to help them or use them to their advantage. The town remembers player actions, leading to severe consequences if caught. Currently still in development, Militsioner challenges players to question the sanity of the world around them when it arrives on Xbox platforms and Game Pass in 2027.
