Metroid Ravenous Logo Generator Sparks Viral Social Media Meme Trend

Excitement surrounding the reveal of Metroid Ravenous has translated into an onslaught of viral memes following the release of an online logo generator. Users across Reddit and Bluesky have shared images featuring Samus Aran pinning down an enemy for consumption, accompanied by various humorous and absurd phrases rendered in the jagged Metroid Ravenous font.

The Pixelframe Design website launched the tool to let anyone style custom text to match the grainy logo style, complete with four background options. Pixelframe Design previously created similar generators for other titles including GTA 6, The Duskbloods, and Pokopia. The core hook of Metroid Ravenous involves Samus needing to kill and consume enemies to survive, which inspired food-themed jokes, viral concepts like girl dinner, and references to television sketches.

Players have also applied the Ravenous font face to other video game titles like Hello Kitty Island Adventure, alongside various vulgar and gross jokes. The Metroid subreddit quickly filled with these template creations, prompting moderators to establish a dedicated megathread. Many top-upvoted comments within the community used the meme format to poke fun at the moderators.

Revealed during the September 2026 Nintendo Direct, Metroid Ravenous serves as a follow-up to 2021 title Metroid Dread and continues the two-dimensional track of the franchise. While Nintendo has not officially confirmed the developer, Metroid Dread studio MercurySteam hinted on social media that it is working on the project. Metroid Ravenous is scheduled to release on January 28, 2027, alongside a special edition that includes a steelbook and an Amiibo figure.
