As players are aware, the original game features a famous joke where Snake is instructed to change the disc halfway through the adventure before Otacon realizes that the PlayStation 3's Blu-ray disc is dual-layered, meaning there is no need to swap. On the Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S versions, this sequence is slightly different. Otacon instead mentions the specific Xbox consoles by name and notes that they utilize high-capacity media.
