LumenTale: Memories of Trey Is Coming to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S Later This Year

Publisher Team17 and developer Beehive Studios have announced plans to bring their creature-collecting RPG, LumenTale: Memories of Trey, to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. According to the announcement, the game will land on the two console platforms sometime later this year in 2026.

The upcoming console releases follow the title's original launch on PC via Steam and Nintendo Switch, which took place earlier this year on May 26, 2026. Additionally, the Nintendo Switch version remains playable on Nintendo Switch 2 via backward compatibility.

LumenTale: Memories of Trey follows a titular hero who awakens in the world of Talea with no memories, setting out on a journey to uncover the past. Along the way, players encounter and capture magical creatures known as Animon, which are imbued with an energy called Anivis that affects the emotions and souls of living beings in Talea. The game features over 140 Animon types available to collect through capture or turn-based PvE and PvP battles, ranging from 1v1 duels up to 4v4 showdowns.

The role-playing game also incorporates crafting, cooking, and a dedicated alternate realm called The Anispace. In The Anispace, players can train their collected Animon, craft and purchase furniture from vendors, and customize a home to strengthen the bonds between Trey and the creature companions.
