Developer Sunny Side Up is bringing Little Witch in the Woods to the Nintendo Switch, with storefront listings pointing to a mid-September release.

Developer Sunny Side Up has announced plans to bring their cozy title, Little Witch in the Woods, to the Nintendo Switch. Recent discoveries on Nintendo Store pages have outlined release timing for the upcoming hybrid console port, pointing to a Japanese release date of September 17 alongside a simultaneous global launch on September 16 for American time zones.

Initially developed by the South Korean studio for PC, the game first made its debut via Steam Early Access back in May 2022. Following its development cycle, the full release of the PC version arrived in mid-September 2025. Now, console players will soon be able to experience the cozy apprentice witch life previously reserved for computer platforms.

Nintendo Store listings indicate that the upcoming Switch port will support the same language options as its PC counterpart. Players can expect to experience the adventure in Korean, English, Japanese, and Chinese, covering both Traditional and Simplified writing systems.

In Little Witch in the Woods, players step into the shoes of Ellie, an apprentice witch dispatched from the witch homeland of Lucerine Ortu. The heartwarming and cozy adventure challenges players to explore brand-new areas, craft problem-solving potions, and assist villagers. Activities span navigating forests, caves, cliffs, and lakes on a broom, completing an encyclopedia of adorable life forms, gathering hidden treasures, decorating living spaces with customized furniture, and interacting with cats to deepen cross-species friendships.
