Nanairo Enterprise and publisher DANGEN Entertainment are developing LitGirls: Bookbound Dungeon, a turn-based anime RPG featuring a party of four characters drawn from literary classics. The roster includes Alice from Alice in Wonderland, Dante from Dante's Inferno, Juliet from Romeo & Juliet, and Raven, inspired by Edgar Allan Poe's poem.

Players will navigate dungeons themed around classic novels and face enemies like the Jabberwocky. Progression centers on collecting powerful words called LOGOS, which strengthen characters and unlock new abilities. The game's mechanics share similarities with light novel series Ascendance of a Bookworm, offering a literature-focused adventure within a dungeon-crawling framework.

LitGirls: Bookbound Dungeon launches on PC during the first half of 2027. Console versions are planned for later release. A separate 18+ uncensored version will be available as a direct PC purchase outside Steam, though this version will not reach console platforms.

The title follows Nanairo Enterprise's previous work on TurretGirls, a rails-shooter developed in collaboration with DANGEN Entertainment.
