Lego Batman: Legacy Of The Dark Knight Gives Harley Quinn An Arkham Asylum Makeover

Lego Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight is expanding its content offerings alongside its upcoming Nintendo Switch 2 launch on September 18. Developer TT Games and publisher Warner Bros. Games are introducing new downloadable content, a fresh difficulty option, and character makeovers for the open-world action-adventure title.

The upcoming Mayhem Collection expansion will feature the Joker and Harley Quinn as playable characters. GameSpot revealed that Harley Quinn will receive a classic costume inspired by 2009's Batman: Arkham Asylum. The outfit features prankster pigtails and a chaotic corset, drawing on the character's appearance from Rocksteady's game. The expansion also includes a new story mission chronicling the first meeting between the Joker and Dr. Harleen Quinzel, a Mayhem Mode gameplay feature, and a Sinister Pack of villain-themed outfits, Batcave items, and vehicles.

In addition to the Mayhem Collection, the Legacy Collection DLC adds suits, vehicles, and Batcave items pulled from the Batman: Arkham game series and the Batman Beyond animated series. Alongside the Switch 2 debut, TT Games is rolling out a free update for all platforms that adds an Absolute difficulty setting. The new mode demands more precision and combat awareness than the existing Caped Crusader and Dark Knight difficulty tiers.

Players can also unlock additional in-game suits and items by linking a Warner Bros. Games account, an active HBO Max subscription, or a DC Universe Infinite subscription. Physical edition buyers on Switch 2 will receive a free Lego Retro Videogame Batman minifigure while supplies last.
