Le Mans Ultimate's V1.4.2 update rolls out on 22 September 2026, prioritising fixes to the game's multiplayer infrastructure and new racing content. Motorsport Games has concentrated on resolving bugs and underlying issues rather than adding major single-player features.
The patch focuses heavily on the Reliable User Datagram Protocol (RUDP) netcode system, which replaced Transmission Control Protocol (TCP) in the previous V1.4 update. Recent multiplayer problems were severe enough to force sim racing platform Low Fuel Motorsport to cancel its Pro Series competition. A 12 Hours of Le Mans test race scheduled for 25 September will indicate whether the netcode improvements resolve these issues conclusively.
Over 90 new liveries from the 2026 ELMS season and 24 Hours of Le Mans arrive as free content. All LMP2, LMP3 and LMGT3 cars from this season are now selectable, with the championship available as a single-player Race Weekend option. Hypercar liveries from Le Mans were added in V1.4, and now their LMP2 and LMGT3 counterparts complete the grid.
The patch notes reveal an intriguing change to online championships: "Added support for bespoke online championships available to non-RC subscribers for limited time events". This suggests that certain online championships, previously exclusive to RaceControl Pro and Pro+ subscribers, may become available to all players for specific events. Motorsport Games plans to announce more details later.
Technical improvements address numerous multiplayer and single-player issues. AI cars will no longer perform erratic manoeuvres when leaving pit boxes. The Engineer role's pit menu gains penalty options. Damage now displays correctly in the Engineer menu, online championship timeslots respect game timezone settings, and custom liveries load properly in team event practice servers.
The US Track Pack 2 DLC launches alongside the patch at £14.99 / €17.99 / $19.99, with a limited-time 10% discount available. It includes Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta and Streets of Long Beach Circuit. The DLC is also included in the US Track Pass (£34.99 / €39.99 / $44.99) and RaceControl Pro+ subscriptions. The final US Track Pass portion is expected in Q4 2026 with two additional tracks to be confirmed.
