Le Mans Ultimate releases netcode hotfix V1.4.1.5 to address online collision issues
A new hotfix for Le Mans Ultimate targets persistent netcode problems affecting online multiplayer racing, with public tests scheduled to verify stability.

Le Mans Ultimate has released a new hotfix aimed at resolving ongoing netcode issues that have disrupted online multiplayer racing. The update, version V1.4.1.5, focuses on improving how collisions are handled during online races.
The problems emerged following the V1.4 build, which introduced the first part of the game's US Track Pass featuring Laguna Seca and Daytona International Speedway. Since then, players have reported game-breaking outcomes related to netcode, particularly around collision detection. The game's switch from Transmission Control Protocol (TCP) to reliable UDP (RUDP) was partially reversed, but some issues persisted, leading to today's patch.
According to the developer, the hotfix includes a small change that should make a noticeable and immediate difference to all players when racing online. The changelog for V1.4.1.5 includes fixes for false collisions present since the v1.4 update, an option to select which version of netcode runs on a server, and optional extended network logging for inspecting online issues for both client and server.
The netcode issues were severe enough to cause the postponement of LFM's Simverse Pro Series, one of the most prominent esports competitions for the title. The series resumed on September 10th following the initial fixes.
To ensure game stability, Motorsport Games has organized public tests on the following dates: September 14th for Single Driver Weekly events, September 18th for a 6-hour Silverstone team race, and September 25th for a 12-hour Le Mans team race featuring 62 cars.
The full patch notes are available through the game's official channels.
