Kingdoms of the Dump Gets Version 1.1 Update With Hard Mode and New Content

Roach Games has released version 1.1 for Kingdoms of the Dump, its turn-based RPG available on PC, Mac, and Linux via Steam. The update introduces Hard Mode alongside quality-of-life improvements and new story content.

The patch adds enemy HP bars during combat, making it easier to track damage dealt and remaining health. The team has also included improved and newly added event scenes, expanding the game's narrative. Some previously cut content has been restored as part of the update.

Kingdoms of the Dump launched in November 2025 and draws inspiration from Super Nintendo-era RPGs. Players control Dustin Binsley, a sentient trash can and aspiring knight falsely accused of "trashpicking" the king of Garbagia. The adventure involves clearing his name, evading trash assassins, and uncovering an evil organization threatening the world. The game features six playable characters, each with unique field abilities and distinct fighting styles.
