Streamer Jynxzi Confirms League of Legends Worlds Co-Stream and Mid-October Tournament

Popular Twitch streamer Nicholas 'Jynxzi' Stewart has revealed plans for upcoming League of Legends events following a call with Riot Games. The variety streamer began playing the game and previously hosted a content creator tournament that became one of the most-viewed League of Legends events of the year. Following his recent discussions with Riot Games, Jynxzi announced that he will host a second tournament in mid-October, alongside promises of Twitch Drops.

In addition to the upcoming tournament, Jynxzi revealed that Riot Games has invited him to co-stream the League of Legends World Championship final live from the Barclays Center in New York City. Jynxzi stated that he is hoping to co-stream the event alongside fellow streamers Dantes Forlini and Tyler Steinkamp.

Riot Games has continued efforts to attract new players to the multiplayer online battle arena title, introducing changes such as faster gameplay, WASD controls, and full-team voice chat. The publisher has found notable streaming success through Jynxzi's broadcasts. His previous tournament featured prominent creators such as James Donaldson, Ludwig Ahgren, and Mark Zimmerman. Supported by Twitch Drops including an in-game skin, that event generated substantial viewership numbers across platforms, prompting further collaboration between the publisher and prominent content creators.
