Survival shooter Into the Radius 2's PlayStation VR2 release has been delayed two weeks, moving from September 24 to October 8.

Developer CM Immersive cited certification requirements as the reason for the postponement. "During the final certification stage, we identified a few things that still need attention. We want to use this time to make sure the PS VR2 version is in the best possible shape before players enter the Radius," the studio said in an email.

Sony's certification process is known to be more rigorous than approval procedures for competing platforms like Meta and Steam. Into the Radius 2 left early access on Steam and Quest earlier this year before moving toward its PlayStation VR2 debut, as Sony's platform traditionally avoids early access releases.

The PS VR2 version will run at native 90fps and make use of the headset's eye-tracked dynamic foveated rendering, headset haptics, and adaptive trigger controllers. Co-op gameplay, announced separately, is scheduled to arrive in Q4 2026.
