Rumor: Batwoman and Supergirl Headed to Injustice 3 Roster
A stunt worker's resume suggests NetherRealm Studios is including Batwoman and Supergirl in the unannounced fighting game sequel, with Supergirl returning from Injustice 2 and Batwoman making her mainline series debut.

Evidence of two characters bound for Injustice 3 has surfaced through a stunt worker's resume, according to reporting by MP1st. The document lists Batwoman and Supergirl under role positions and credits animator and stunt coordinator Jake Huang, who previously worked on Mortal Kombat 1.
Supergirl played a significant role in Injustice 2's story, making her return to the roster less surprising. Batwoman, however, would be a new addition to the mainline fighting game series. The character has appeared in Injustice mobile games and DC tie-in comics, where she is portrayed as Kate Kane. In the comics, this version of Batwoman meets her end at Superman's hands.
NetherRealm Studios has not officially announced Injustice 3, though the game has been heavily rumored following reports of a "triple-A fighting game" undergoing playtesting in California. Previous reports have also placed a third Injustice title on the resume of a Warner Bros. Games artist.
The studio has maintained focus on 2D fighting game mechanics in recent years through the Mortal Kombat franchise. Ed Boon, NetherRealm's chief creative officer, confirmed last month that Injustice 2 has sold more than 9 million copies since its 2017 release. The title remains available on PC, PS4, and Xbox One, with backwards compatibility support on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S.
No official statement regarding Injustice 3 has been made by NetherRealm or publisher Warner Bros. Games.
