Hypertune launches automated PC overclocking platform with Intel support
Miami-based gaming tech company Hypertune has officially launched its automated overclocking platform following an eight-month open beta and close collaboration with Intel.

Miami-based gaming tech company Hypertune has officially announced the public release of its Gaming Performance Engineering platform. Designed to bring overclocking to a wider audience, the automated tool aims to help PC gamers safely extract more performance from their systems without the risk of hardware damage. According to numbers shared with GamesBeat from internal testing, the product has yielded frame-per-second performance improvements of up to 60 percent.
Hypertune operates as a subsidiary of Compready, a PC gaming optimization company co-founded by Thomas Schappy and Austin Copeland. Copeland, a former competitive gamer and former coach for the esports organization TSM, stated that Compready’s three decades of experience in manually tuning systems informed the development of the tool. To refine the technology, Hypertune collaborated with prominent overclocker and Intel performance tuning expert Pieter “SkatterBencher” Plaisier. Furthermore, Copeland credited an ongoing collaboration with Intel for enabling the software's development, noting that the platform was built directly on Intel’s Extreme Tuning Utility software developer kit.
The public launch follows an extended early-access period that included an eight-month open beta with more than 60,000 participants across various devices and skill levels, featuring pro gamers such as Michael “Shroud” Grzesiek. While launched with Intel's support and endorsement, Copeland noted that the platform currently supports every hardware configuration on the market, including AMD and Nvidia components.
Hypertune monetizes its software through a monthly subscription fee of $9.99, alongside a discounted yearly plan option. Copeland emphasized that the tool serves as an affordable alternative to buying costly hardware upgrades amidst surging RAM prices and expensive graphics cards, helping users achieve higher frame rates and lower latency.
