Hubert, a Shepherd Dog Adventure Game, Gets a PC Release Date
Brocap Studio has confirmed that its shepherd dog adventure game, Hubert, will launch on PC via Steam on October 12.
Brocap Studio has officially confirmed a PC release date for Hubert, an adventure game centered on a working shepherd dog tasked with protecting a flock of sheep. Players will be able to experience the adventure when the game officially launches on Steam on October 12. Alongside the PC announcement, a playable demo is currently available on Steam for those looking to try out the title ahead of its release.
Hubert follows a dog of the same name who navigates his surroundings through instinct, sound, and smell. Early in the story, Hubert is rescued from a storm by a woman named Lily, forging a partnership that takes them on the road and eventually to a farm where Hubert must keep his sheep in line. Entirely from Hubert's perspective, players journey through shifting weather conditions, open countryside, and various environmental dangers. Gameplay footage has teased encounters with wolves, while narrative hints point toward a broader mystery pulling Hubert toward the unexplored northern wilderness.
Brocap Studio describes the project as a blend of emotional storytelling and herding mechanics, aiming for a balance between a cozy atmosphere and adventure. In addition to the upcoming PC launch, the developers previously announced that the game is planned for release on the PlayStation 5. While an exact console launch date remains unconfirmed, Brocap Studio has indicated that the PlayStation 5 version is also aiming for an October release, with a precise date expected to be revealed in the coming weeks.
