How to Play Music Cassette Tapes in Vehicles in Wardogs

Playing music cassette tapes in vehicles in Wardogs provides an entertaining way to pass the time while ferrying logistics or flying choppers. Because travel times can be long, using cassette tapes makes trips more enjoyable. Players must first unlock a cassette tape before using it in a vehicle. Cassette tapes are unlocked by progressing through class unlock paths, such as Driver and Pilot. Reaching the required level allows players to spend money to fully unlock a tape just like a new weapon or attachment.

After acquiring a music tape, players must purchase it during the start of every match using a vehicle buy screen. To do this, players need to visit a vehicle vendor and purchase any vehicle except a quad bike. Getting inside the vehicle and pressing the on-screen button, which is the B key on PC, opens the Buy Ammo and Supplies screen. From there, players click the Items box beneath the Ammo and Logistic boxes, scroll along the tabs to the Tapes section, select the desired tape, and confirm the purchase. The tape then enters the vehicle inventory.

Playing the music requires pressing the interact key, which is the F key on PC, scrolling down to the Play Cassette Tape option, and holding the key. Cassette tapes play only once before needing to be restarted manually through the menu because they do not loop automatically. Because cassette tapes function as physical items similar to weapons, ammo, and bandages, leaving or destroying the vehicle means players must purchase the tape again. Other players can also loot the tape from the vehicle inventory. Currently, the shooter developed by Bulkhead features eight unlockable cassette tapes tied to class leveling.
