Leveling up the Driver class in Wardogs can take some time, primarily because players do not often spend large amounts of time inside vehicles aside from driving from headquarters to the control zone. Fortunately, there are more efficient methods to earn Driver XP than simply dropping people off.

The Driver class levels up whenever a player performs an action related to ground vehicles, including cars, SUVs, tanks, and armored vehicles. Aircraft actions do not count toward this class and instead fall under the Pilot class. To efficiently gain Driver XP, players should focus on three main activities.

First, players can purchase a vehicle and drive other players safely into the control zone to earn XP. Once the Driver class reaches a higher level, players can unlock vehicles with mounted turrets. Switching to these armed vehicles and driving around the zone while a teammate operates the gun allows the driver to earn XP for any kills secured by the gunner.

Second, players can deliver logistics to team Forward Operating Bases. While flying logistics in with a helicopter is faster, driving resources to FOBs grants Driver XP.

Finally, when a team reaches 20 tickets, they receive an Armored Personnel Carrier that acts as a mobile spawn point. Driving this APC into the control zone awards Driver XP whenever teammates use it as a spawn point. While leveling up the Driver class requires focused effort compared to combat classes like Assault, it unlocks access to better vehicles in Wardogs.
