The Halloween asymmetrical PvP adaptation included a minigame where two players could enter a closet for sexual content in exchange for in-game buffs, according to PC Gamer. The feature appeared exclusively in the deluxe edition's early access period but has been silently removed after only a few days.

The removal went unmentioned in recent patch notes, but Steam community comments and subreddit threads reveal the change. Players noted that Laurie Strode's playable civilian character Lynda, who previously received extra benefits from the sex minigame, has had that trait removed. Multiple players have expressed frustration on social media, with one Reddit user writing, "Why did they remove it!??!?!?!? Me and my homeboy just wanna have sex in a closet?"

PC Gamer reports that developer Illfonic has not officially confirmed the reason for removal. However, the outlet notes a potential explanation: respawned players can take on adult characters like police officers or Dr. Loomis, who could theoretically solicit sexual content from high school-aged characters. In the game's version, protagonist Laurie Strode is 17 years old, raising potential age-of-consent concerns. Illfonic has not responded to requests for comment on the patch, and the story indicates it will be updated if they provide further information.
