GTA 6’s Leonida is So Massive Even Its Developers Haven’t Seen All Of It, Per Rockstar

According to Rockstar North studio co-head and head of development Rob Nelson, the world of Grand Theft Auto 6 is so massive that it is unlikely a single individual on the development team has seen all of it in its full scope. Speaking in an interview with IGN, Nelson discussed the studio's long development cycle and the immense scale of Leonida, explaining that the game's enormous size makes it difficult for any one creator to know every corner of it.

Nelson also spoke on the challenges of evolving and building upon the studio's past work. The massive scale of the upcoming title highlights the hand-crafted nature of the world, designed to pull players into Vice City's energy when they are let loose later this year. Fans waiting to explore the vast open world will not have to wait much longer, as Grand Theft Auto 6 is scheduled to launch on November 19th.
