Modder xoxor4d has released Update 1.5.2 for the Grand Theft Auto 4 RTX Remix Path Tracing Mod, introducing Sparkles’ DLSS 5 implementation and stability improvements.
Modder xoxor4d has officially released Update 1.5.2 for the RTX Remix Path Tracing Mod of Grand Theft Auto 4. Although described as a small patch, the update brings targeted technical changes aimed at boosting image fidelity, reducing visual noise, and improving overall stability for players currently experiencing the mod.
One of the primary adjustments in Update 1.5.2 is the removal of the initial DLSS 5 integration originally supplied by Lunks. In its place, the modder has implemented Sparkles’ DLSS 5 implementation. According to notes provided by the developer, this switch significantly reduces shadow flickering and establishes a much more stable environment, delivering a markedly improved image quality for users utilizing DLSS 5.
In addition to the DLSS changes, the patch implements minor adjustments to visual particle effects. Update 1.5.2 slightly increases the alpha of Litsprite particles, which directly improves environmental effects such as mist and tire smoke. Furthermore, the default RTXDI sample count has been set to 64, a modification designed to make vehicle headlights appear less noisy during gameplay.
Players utilizing the path tracing mod can download the new version directly. While the patch notes are concise, these targeted adjustments work together to enhance the graphical presentation and performance stability of the modified game.
