Grand Theft Auto 4 Fusion Fix Mod Version 5.1.0 Adds Console Gamma, Quick Save, and High Frame Rate Fixes

The modding team behind Fusion Fix, one of the most comprehensive mods for Grand Theft Auto 4, has released version 5.1.0. The update introduces new visual, control, and gameplay options alongside technical improvements for high frame rate performance.

The update adds a new Console Gamma system with PS3 Gamma as an option, which aims to bring the game's colors closer to the console versions. Quick Save functionality is now available through the in-game phone, allowing players to save nearly anywhere.

Several gameplay and control options have been expanded. Players can now turn off the slow-motion camera during Stunt Jumps and disable the camera when climbing fences or stealing cars. A new Auto Climb Ladders option simplifies ladder use. New ragdoll options let players press R while jumping to ragdoll, with support for ragdolling while climbing. Parked cars can now be set to display brake lights.

The update fixes multiple issues affecting shops, taxi rides, preachers, vendors, and game time. High frame rate performance receives substantial attention, with fixes to water effects, water physics, weapon aiming, helicopter rotors, loading screens, and camera effects. Additional improvements address memory and camera issues, vehicle models, searchlight positions, and restore radio audio in Roman's cab depot.

Fusion Fix is an open-source mod designed to address technical issues and bugs left unaddressed in official updates. The mod is compatible with other mods, including the RTX Remix Mod, which adds real-time Path Tracing to the game.
