GodotFest 2026 Returns to Munich This November With Business Focus
GodotFest 2026 returns to smartvillage in Munich on November 3rd and 4th, featuring a business theme, game showcases, and ticket options currently on sale.

GodotFest has officially announced its return to smartvillage in Munich, Germany, for November 3rd and 4th, 2026. Following an inaugural event last November that drew nearly 500 attendees, 34 speakers, and two stages, the independent organizing team is bringing the annual conference back in close cooperation with the Godot Foundation. Developers, artists, educators, tool makers, and community organizers using the Godot Engine can now plan for the upcoming gathering.
The central theme for the 2026 event is Godot Means Business. While the schedule retains technical talks, panels, and community networking time, organizers are expanding space for studios, publishers, and service providers building businesses around the engine. Every ticket includes access to the MeetToMatch platform, powered by Photon, allowing attendees to arrange meetings before the event begins. A dedicated game showcase will also give participants space to bring their own hardware and let others play their games.
Registration and ticketing options are currently underway. While Early Bird tickets have already sold out, regular tickets are available for 249 euros until September 30th, after which Late Bird tickets will cost 349 euros. VIP tickets are priced at 799 euros and include a custom shirt alongside a VIP dinner. All ticket tiers cover premium catering across both days, including breakfast, lunch, afternoon snacks, and continuous beverages with vegan and gluten-free choices provided.
Organizers have also opened a call for speakers targeting developers who shipped a game with Godot, built a useful tool, or gained technical insights. Proposals for talks and panels can be submitted until August 31st, 2026 at 13:00 UTC, with the organizing team noting this deadline is final. Companies interested in sponsoring the event can reach out through the official GodotFest channels. Programme announcements will be shared via Bluesky, Mastodon, the official newsletter, and the community Discord server.
