Genshin Impact 7.2 Adds Electro Characters Mitya and Valeriy from Snezhnaya
Two new characters from the Armory Palace research complex will arrive in the next patch. Mitya uses a Stellar Linchpin for Electro attacks, while Valeriy wields a traditional Vision.
Genshin Impact's 7.2 patch will introduce two new Snezhnaya characters who work together at the Armory Palace: Mitya and Valeriy.
Mitya is a Royal Energy Commission researcher with a lackadaisical attitude. Rather than a Vision, he uses a Stellar Linchpin to deal Electro damage. Fatui Harbinger Jester Pierro described him as eccentric, excusing his peculiarities for the sake of his work.
Valeriy takes a stricter approach to his role. He holds the rank of major in the Special Assignments Battalion and is focused on protecting those under his command. He wields a traditional Vision and also deals Electro damage.
The Armory Palace serves as Snezhnaya's foremost research institution, handling research, design, and production within the Glupov complex. HoYoVerse has not yet specified whether both characters will be five-star units or if one will be four-star rarity.
Genshin Impact is available on PS5, Xbox Series X, PC, and mobile devices. Patch 7.1 is currently live, with 7.2 arriving later this season.
