Xbox Games Studio Shop Offers 1:1 Scale Prototype Lancer Replica from Gears of War: E-Day

Video games often feature iconic weapons that fans dream of holding, and few are as memorable as the Lancer from the Gears of War franchise. Combining a machine gun with a chainsaw bayonet, the weapon has remained a fan favorite throughout the long-running third-person shooter series. With Gears of War: E-Day set to explore the beginning of the Human-Locust War and the creation of the legendary weapon, fans now have the opportunity to own a physical piece of that history.

Built directly using game assets, the collectible features hand-painted weathering effects designed to give it an authentic, well-worn appearance. The replica weighs approximately six pounds and measures 36 inches long, 14 inches tall, and eight inches wide.

The collectible is currently available for purchase on the Official Xbox Games Studio Shop priced at $299.99. Due to high demand and surprising popularity, the first allotment has already sold through completely. According to the store, any new orders placed after August 20th are scheduled to ship out in February 2027.

Meanwhile, the upcoming game itself is slated for release later in the year. Gears of War: E-Day is officially scheduled to launch for PC and Xbox Series X|S platforms on October 6, 2026, giving players plenty of time to secure their hardware and gear up before diving into the origins of the iconic franchise.
