Gears of War: E-Day PC Requirements Demand RTX 5070 Ti for 4K, Launches With DLSS 4.5

The Coalition confirmed final PC specifications for Gears of War: E-Day, requiring an RTX 5070 Ti or RX 7900 XT paired with high-end CPUs to hit 4K at 60+ fps. The game launches October 6 with DLSS 4.5, FSR 4.0, ultrawide support and a 115 GB install

The Coalition has detailed the final PC specifications for Gears of War: E-Day ahead of its October 6 launch. Ultra settings require an Intel Core i7-14700K or AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D, 16 GB of RAM, and either an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 Ti or Radeon RX 7900 XT.

Achieving 4K resolution at 60+ frames per second on Ultra settings requires upscaling support. The game will support Nvidia DLSS, AMD FSR, Temporal Super Resolution (TSR), and Intel XeSS at launch. Ray tracing is mandatory, meaning GPUs without ray tracing support cannot run the game.

Gears of War: E-Day will ship with DLSS 4.5, FSR 4.0, and Intel XeSS 3.0t support on day one, alongside HDR and ultrawide monitor compatibility. The Coalition includes advanced graphical settings and a benchmark tool to optimize performance across hardware configurations.

Installation requires 115 GB of storage space. Premium Edition owners can begin playing October 1, while general launch arrives October 6 for both Xbox Series X/S and PC. Pre-loads start September 29 at 8 AM PST.
