Gallipoli Free DLC Set For October 1 Release With New Map Based On 1917’s Second Battle Of Gaza
BlackMill Games has announced the first free post-launch expansion for Gallipoli, arriving on October 1, 2026, featuring a new map based on the 1917 Second Battle of Gaza.
Developer BlackMill Games has announced that Gallipoli is set to receive its first free post-launch expansion on October 1, 2026. The upcoming content drop forms part of the Second Expedition expansion for the tactical World War I shooter and introduces a brand-new map inspired by the Second Battle of Gaza in 1917.
Alongside the main map, titled Ali Al Muntar, the free update includes eight new weapons, proximity chat, and weather and time of day presets. The Ali Al Muntar map will also feature tanks that cinematically escort players at the start of the battle. In addition to the free expansion content, paid cosmetic downloadable content will accompany the Second Expedition release.
Gallipoli serves as the fourth entry in the WWI-based series following Verdun, Tannenberg, and Isonzo, having recently launched for PlayStation 5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S in August 2026. Named after the 1915 Battle of Gallipoli, the game highlights historical accuracy with authentic uniforms, equipment, and Middle-Eastern Front war zones, allowing players to fight as troops from either the British Empire or the Ottoman Empire.
