Planet Coaster and Jurassic World Developer Frontier Partners With Disney for a New Video Game

Frontier Developments, the studio recognized for its work on titles like Planet Coaster and the Jurassic World Evolution series, has announced a brand-new partnership with Disney to develop an upcoming video game. While specific details regarding the title's name, precise premise, and launch timeline remain unannounced, an official press release confirms that the project will build upon the studio's extensive experience and capabilities as a leader within the creative management simulation genre.

The announcement arrives as Frontier continues active development and release schedules across its portfolio. The studio's latest project, Jurassic World Evolution 3, previously launched to generally favorable reviews on Metacritic, scoring between 78 and 82 out of 100 depending on the platform. Additionally, Planet Zoo 2 is scheduled for an October release, expanding to incorporate flying and aquatic creatures alongside launches across a variety of platforms outside of PC. Beyond the newly confirmed Disney partnership and Planet Zoo 2, Frontier is also working on another unannounced management game, though further specifics regarding that project remain undisclosed.
