Animator Ehsan Bayat has released a free Blender adaptation of 16 utility sliders from the Maya Animo toolkit to help speed up animation workflows.
Developer Ehsan Bayat has released a new Blender tool that adapts 16 utility sliders from the original Maya Animo toolkit. The release aims to help speed up animation workflows and eliminate repetitive tasks for 3D artists. While it is not a full port of the complete Animo package, the included sliders function similarly to their counterparts in the original Maya software.
The utility, titled Animo Sliders for Blender, is compatible with Blender versions 4.0 through 5.2. Users can access the sliders panel by pressing the K key within the software. Additional options are available by right-clicking the panel. According to the developer, there are currently no plans to recreate the full Animo package for Blender, although additional updates could arrive in the future.
Animo Sliders is available as a free download for both commercial and non-commercial projects. The release follows a series of other utility tools featured for the software, such as the Hair Bone Generator and Proximity Snap.
