Playground Games has released the Series 5 update for Forza Horizon 6, introducing a themed British Automotive Festival playlist. While official messaging claims there are ten new cars to unlock, an opinion piece published by Traxion.GG argues that the actual number of genuinely new content additions is much lower due to recycled models and previously available vehicles.

According to the breakdown, several featured vehicles are imported directly from other titles without modification. The Ginetta G40 Junior and Vauxhall Astra VXR are pulled from Forza Motorsport, while the Jaguar XKR-S GT and 2002 Lotus Esprit V8 were previously present in Forza Horizon 5 before being removed for the latest sequel and reintroduced through updates.

Additionally, vehicles such as the Bentley Bentayga, Aston Martin Valhalla Concept Car, and McLaren 620R were already accessible via random Wheelspin rewards, and are now simply earnable through the Festival Playlist. Meanwhile, the McLaren W1, Dodge Challenger SRT Demon 170, Renault Sport Spider, and Porsche 911 Carrera Coupe Luftauto 002 are paid additions requiring individual purchases or the Car Pass. Only the Bentley Continental GT Speed and a drift variant of the Jaguar XJS are highlighted as completely worthy additions unlocked via the new Drift Attack mode.
