Recent reports indicate that PlayStation 5 players eager to experience Forza Horizon 6 may have to wait a bit longer than expected. Following a public message stating that the title would arrive on Sony's console later this year, journalist Tom Warren stated in a paid newsletter that Microsoft is planning to push the game's release on the platform into early 2027.

Citing sources familiar with developer Playground Games' plans, Warren noted that while an arrival on the PS5 was initially mapped out for 2026, the schedule has shifted. As of now, a specific release window within early 2027 has not been detailed. Observers have speculated that official updates regarding the timeline might emerge during Xbox's upcoming presence at the Tokyo Game Show this month, though neither Microsoft nor Playground Games has formally confirmed a change in plans.
