Forza Horizon 6 players in Japan report wave of bans for anime-decorated cars

Forza Horizon 6 players in Japan are reporting another wave of mass bans targeting itasha creators, those who customize vehicles with anime artwork and designs.

According to player accounts shared with gaming communities, multiple itasha enthusiasts have received bans from the racing game. Players have characterized the situation as part of an ongoing pattern of mass reporting, though the exact scale and enforcement criteria remain unclear.

Itasha culture is a recognized automotive subculture in Japan centered on decorating cars with anime characters and imagery. The reported bans have prompted frustration among affected players, with some questioning moderation enforcement and cultural sensitivity.

Neither Forza Horizon 6 developer Playground Games nor publisher Microsoft has publicly commented on the reports at time of writing. The game's code of conduct prohibits various forms of content, and enforcement can be triggered through community reporting systems.

This marks what players describe as a repeat occurrence rather than an isolated incident, suggesting an ongoing enforcement pattern within the Japanese player base.
